That day in Subway Restaurant

A random day out with my younger brother.
We both went to Subway to takeout a tuna wrap and I planned to have lunch somewhere else.
At the time of waiting him queuing,
I saw this old lady sort of collecting used cartons which folded into cardboard form.
Little by little she collected them and put them in a trolley,
despite quite a number of people might be looking at her,
she just did her job alone quietly.
I feel touched by her situation but I hesitated.
I chose to wait for my kindness to react.
But eventually, it doesn't happen.

Why are we so care about how people look at us differently when we wanted to do good?
When charity is something that we should do without hesitation. =/
